In particular this call is dedicated to exchanges between ELECTRA Partners and extra-EU Organizations . For detailed information on call topics and application procedure click the “Mobility” Tab..
Bilbao, 6th October 2015, hosted by Tecnalia
EERA JP SG is growing in importance and is gathering more and more participants: it currently includes 20 Full Participants and 19 Associates representing 17 different European countries. In order to cover all the collaboration and communication needs among all members, a General Assembly (GA) will be held on an annual basis.
The main purposes of the GA are to increase visibility and networking opportunity for all JP SG members, also reporting of annual activities (technical and financial) and putting the basis for new joint activities and collaborative projects.
The 1st GA will give particular emphasis on relationships with EC and European industrial grid stakeholders and on technical topics, to be discussed in roundtables and specific panels (see the programme).
"The role of communications as critical enabler for the development of smart energy systems", Lecco (Italy), September 14-15, 2015.
ELECTRA will provide important contributions to the ISGAN workshop (see the programme).
Helfried Brunner (AIT) will be the Moderator of the round table discussion in Session 2, while Henrik Bindner (DTU) will participate in the round table of Session 6.
Moreover Luciano Martini (RSE) will deliver the introductory speech of day 2.
Finally, the 2nd International Coordination Board physical meeting will be held at the end of the second day.
The meeting will be mainly focused to identify R&D topics of common interest with Extra European Countries and related joint activities, including Researcher Exchange (REX) opportunities. To this purpose the 3rd REX call, to be launched early on October, will be dedicated to exchanges between overseas organisations & ELECTRA partners (see the leaflet).
The "2015 International Symposium on Smart Electric Distribution Systems and Technologies" (EDST 2015) will be held in Vienna, on September 8-11, 2015.
The main objective of this symposium is to bring the research and industry community together to discuss recent developments and approaches to support the roll out of Smart Grid solutions with a strong focus on replicability, scalability and system validation.
ELECTRA project will deliver two oral presentations:
Reinhilde D'ulst (Vito) "Voltage and Frequency Control for Future Power Systems: the ELECTRA IRP Proposal".
Angelo Frascella (ENEA) "Looking for the unified classification and evaluation approach of SG interface standards for the purposes of ELECTRA IRP".
Moreover, on 9th September, a special session "Experiences from the ELECTRA IRP Researchers Exchange (REX)" is organized. The six researchers who were successful in REX Call 1 will present their results and share their experience of exchange working in leading smart grid organisations. Come along to hear first-hand the researchers, learn more about ELECTRA project, evaluate the opportunity to participate to the next calls for Researchers Exchange!
