InnoGrid2020+ is the European event on innovation in electricity networks organized every year in Bruxelles by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) and the European Distribution System Operators for Smart Grids (EDSO).
The ELECTRA IRP project participated to the sixth edition of the conference focused on topics particularly relevant to the scope and activities of the project: the arising network of networks. These innovative networks aim at integrating power grids and transport, telecom and IT in an unprecedented manner. Special attention was devoted to the rapidly evolving transmission-distribution interface.
The event gathered experts, policy makers and innovators belonging to the European community of Smart Grids stakeholders and consisted in a one day and a half meeting, at "The Square" conference centre. During the meeting panel discussions, poster sessions and key note speeches were organized.
The ELECTRA team, coordinated by Luciano Martini, actively contributed to the meeting. In particular, Luciano Martini participated to the panel session "Prosumers empowerment and active system management" and illustrated the contribution that the activities of ELECTRA are providing to the challenges of fostering new flexibility services and demand response and of engaging end customers in this process.
Moreover two banners were prepared and illustrated to the audience: the first banner summarized the structure, the goals and the activities of ELECTRA, while the second advertised the 6th Researcher Exchange call.
